The UK100 index or the Financial Times Stock Exchange 100 is better known in the world of trading as "FTSE 100." It is an average index of stocks of 100 largest companies included in the lists of the London stock exchange.
For the first time, the FTSE was introduced in 1984. Now this index includes the 80% of the market capitalization of the London stock exchange and is considered one of the most precise indicators of the real condition of the British stock market.
Nonetheless, UK100 does not cover the entire market. Recently, the list of the FTSE included more international companies that take away the "title" of the economy growth indicator. More and more traders pay attention to the FTSE 250 index, where the number of foreign companies’ shares is significantly lower.
ForexGrand offers its clients to trade in the UK100 index with a spread of 3 and 1:100 leverage. Trading hours: 10:00-23:00 (GMT+2).
