If you are unable to connect to the MT4 trading platform and see the message "No connection", check the following:
- Internet connection is the most common problem;
- Port lock 443 - the Internet provides a proxy server. This problem occurs most frequently when you use the organization's workspace. To solve this problem, you must clear the port for accessing the Internet and the address of the proxy server. Next, write this information to the terminal settings (the "Tools" - "Settings" - "Server" - check the box "Allow proxy servers", click "Proxy ...", enter the required data);
- Port 443 is blocked by the firewall program. Please note that the Windows Firewall is also a firewall program. Add MetaTrader to the number of allowed programs, or open port 443;
- The old version of the terminal. Check the version of your MT4 by going to the help menu - "About the program ...". If necessary, install the latest version from the "Platforms" section of the broker's website.
